The Role of a Nurse
As a nurse, you have a holistic perspective on the patient's complex needs. You are responsible for patient care, observation, medication, and collaboration matters regarding patients with varying care needs. We want the patient to be involved in their own care. This means that information is a very important part of your work.
You care for the patient in the best way based on the individual's needs and proven experience in medical care.
We work in teams with different professions and together with other colleagues you work toward good collaboration within the clinic. As a nurse, you lead and distribute work within the team.
Your Future Workplace
The Medical and Geriatric Clinic at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö is a developing organization where we care for patients who need specialized medical and geriatric care. Within the clinic there are several care units with different focus and direction.
Here at Medical Care Unit G we care for people with Stroke/TIA, other neurological diseases such as epilepsy, migraine, etc., as well as acute geriatric multi-morbid elderly persons. With us you gain broad competence as we care for patients with many different complex diseases. There is also a stroke coordinator (nurse) who together with ambulance, emergency care, or health centers coordinates direct admissions for people with suspected Stroke/TIA.

Our Offer to You
We now have the opportunity to offer you a permanent full-time position, but we are happy to adjust if you have other wishes.
As someone working the night shift you fulfill an important function and we offer you a night shift supplement of 6,000 kr based on full-time!
Start date will be by agreement, but we would like you to be able to start with us as soon as possible.
