Our Offer Our department consists of an inpatient ward, outpatient clinic, and day care unit (ÖVA). Here you will find fast-paced, varied, and stimulating work with room for development, continuing education, and research. Many of our staff members have multiple specialist qualifications, all to ensure our patients receive the best possible care. We focus on a forward-thinking approach and want to improve things every day. We currently have a total of 17 care beds on the ward, including four intensive cardiac care (HIA) beds. In the HIA unit, we care for all acute cardiac diagnoses, from heart attacks to arrhythmias and heart failure. The ward cares for both acute and elective patients who typically require various types of monitoring. We work in teams with different professional categories. At the cardiac outpatient clinic, our nurses work with coronary arteries, heart failure, pacemakers, arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, and general practice. We also have ÖVA where our day patients come for various treatments. Together, we see approximately 10,000 patients per year. Job Description We are looking for a licensed nurse who is ready for new challenges and wants to conduct Sweden's best cardiac care together with us. We are seeking nurses for work on the cardiology clinic's inpatient ward with the possibility of rotation to the outpatient clinic. We work in care teams together with nursing assistants and physicians, and when needed, also with dietitians, physiotherapists, and social workers. We place great emphasis on interprofessional collaboration for the patient's benefit. On the ward, we have worked extensively to enable the team to focus on their patients in the best way possible, for example with a coordinator and social liaison. About You You are a licensed nurse, preferably with several years of experience. Previous experience in cardiac care and outpatient care is a merit. You are calm and stable, adapt easily to different situations, have good collaboration skills, and are willing to take on great responsibility and make decisions. You have a flexible approach to changing circumstances and the ability to prioritize tasks. You have good self-awareness, are unpretentious, and attentive to patients and colleagues. You enjoy being part of an interprofessional team with the patient in focus. We place great importance on personal suitability. Since you will work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Application and Employment We offer a permanent full-time position (100%) with a start date by agreement. Weekend/evening shifts are included, with the possibility of night shift rotation.
