Psychiatric Clinic Motala Mjölby consists of outpatient clinics within general psychiatry and addiction care in Motala and Mjölby. The operations also include an inpatient ward and a mobile care team, both located in Motala. The clinic works based on an integrated care chain with treatment responsibility in both outpatient and inpatient care. The clinic has western Östergötland as its catchment area and has been part of Psychiatry Center within Region Östergötland since 2020, together with all other psychiatric operations in the region. The mobile care team is located at Lasarettet in Motala and is part of Psychiatric Clinic Motala Mjölby within Region Östergötland. Job Description As a team leader, you have a central role in our mobile care team within acute psychiatry. You have overall oversight of daily operations and help create continuity, structure, and security for both patients and employees. You lead together with the nurses on duty, participate in rounds, and facilitate reports. You have a handle on the current situation, plan and distribute work, and ensure that the team's efforts are coordinated based on patients' needs. When situations become difficult, you're there close to your colleagues as support and contribute with your clinical expertise. You also have an important role in strengthening colleagues' competence and contributing to learning and development. As a nurse and team leader, you work together with care assistants and other nurses. During the workday, you conduct, together with a colleague, among other things, psychiatric assessments, follow-ups, and evaluations during home care visits, medication monitoring, and phone counseling. The work is varied and eventful, with both planned and acute interventions. You work closely with physicians in assessments and with other professionals at the clinic when needed. You work close to the care unit manager and together we monitor operations, identify needs, and drive development initiatives forward. To provide patients with the best possible care, you also have close collaboration with outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, neighboring care units, and families. Work Group We are a mobile care team within acute psychiatry with 22 employees, consisting of nurses and care assistants, together with team leaders. We have different experiences and competencies that complement each other and work closely together in both planned and acute situations. We value sharing knowledge and experiences with each other. Students and newly hired employees are a natural part of our operations, and we see competence transfer, supervision, and development as important parts of our work. Our goal is to together provide patients with safe, early, and needs-adapted care. We also want to be a work group where employees feel secure asking questions, seeking support, and contributing their own expertise. Our ambition is that it should be enjoyable to come to work, and we care about the sense of community in the group. We try to create opportunities to spend time together outside of daily work and happily highlight things that contribute to well-being and cohesion. About You Requirements: Licensed nurse. We are looking for you who feel confident in your role as a nurse and have an interest in psychiatric care. Experience from psychiatry is a merit and provides a good foundation for the role, but what's most important for us is that you're the right person for the assignment and have the will and ability to lead, coordinate, and support your colleagues. Experience with work leadership, coordination, supervision, or development work is a merit, but not a requirement. We would like to see that you have experience working in a team and handling both planned and acute situations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for you who want to develop together with us. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Driver's license (category B).
