DUTIES Welcome to a dedicated and competent team of district nurses, registered nurses, and nursing assistants! As a registered nurse in municipal primary care, you are responsible for health and medical care services in ordinary housing as well as in special accommodations, day activities, and group homes. Our nurses work in geographically divided teams where during daytime you have your own area of responsibility as a patient-responsible nurse. In this role, you meet patients in their home environment and work person-centered to create security, participation, and the best possible quality of life. The work offers great variety and freedom with responsibility, where you largely plan and prioritize your workday based on patients' needs. You are responsible for assessments, planning, implementation, and follow-up of health and medical care services and work closely with colleagues, care personnel, rehabilitation staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers. As a person, you are organized, solution-focused, and able to plan and prioritize your work based on the needs of the operation and patients. You are flexible, see opportunities in change, and want to contribute to the development of future municipal primary care. It is meritorious if you have specialist training in district nursing, elderly care, or dementia, but it is not a requirement. B-driver's license is a requirement for the position.
