We are seeking an asthma/COPD nurse who wants to become an important part of our team at the primary care center. RESPONSIBILITIES As an asthma/COPD nurse, you are responsible for clinic operations and follow-up care for patients with asthma and COPD. Your responsibilities include assessing, treating, and following up with patients according to current guidelines and care protocols. You will work with patient education and provide self-care support to strengthen patient engagement and their ability to manage their disease. The role also includes performing and interpreting spirometry tests and other relevant examinations. In daily work, you collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure good, safe, and patient-centered care. You also participate in quality and development initiatives aimed at improving care and patient health outcomes in the asthma and COPD field. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare and have further education or documented competence in asthma/COPD. Swedish language proficiency at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is required. It is a merit if you have worked as an asthma/COPD nurse. We are looking for someone who is confident in your professional role and enjoys working independently.
