Duties as a Registered Nurse (Day/Evening Shift)
As a registered nurse on day/evening shifts at care unit C, specializing in neurology, stroke, and internal medicine, your work will involve planning, leading, and organizing nursing care together with patients and other healthcare professionals. We work with individualized approaches, keeping the patient at the center of everything we do.
The work is varied and stimulating—no two days are alike. As a registered nurse, you will be developed through multifaceted work tasks that broad medical acute care offers.
Your Future Workplace
The Department of Medicine and Geriatrics is the largest department at Värnamo Hospital, with many services under one roof. We have three inpatient care units with different specializations in medical specialties. The department also provides outpatient care, including medical day care and a dialysis unit. Our outpatient operations cover all medical specialties.
Our facilities are well-planned and modern, and we work with the patient in focus. Here you will work alongside both experienced colleagues and new staff members, all with great commitment.
Your Profile
We are looking for you—a licensed registered nurse with a genuine interest in people and who always keeps the patient in focus. We would appreciate if you have previous experience working in a hospital, but it is not a requirement.

We have close collaboration between our units, and many employees have expertise in all specialties and work on multiple units or have shared positions between outpatient and inpatient care.
