Scandinavian Gastro Clinic is a specialist healthcare facility that opened in spring 2014. We provide specialist care in gastroenterology and liver diseases. Our clinics specialize in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and also evaluate unclear abdominal symptoms and cancer diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. As a nurse, you are responsible for preparations, assisting with examinations and other procedures. The work also includes handling and maintenance of instruments, materials, and medical technical equipment, as well as some administrative tasks. You will rotate between different work areas such as examination rooms, patient care, administrative tasks, reception work, and other relevant duties, creating a varied and developmental workday. The position is technically focused and requires attention to detail and a structured approach. We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and committed to providing excellent patient care. As a nurse with endoscopy experience, you are an important part of the team. Your work will include: Independently and as part of a team, assisting with endoscopic examinations. Assisting with surgical procedures in proctology and general minor surgery. Assisting our other medical specialists with tasks such as ECG placement and removal, blood pressure measurements, and more. Blood sampling. Responsibility for patient care and safety throughout the care process. Qualifications Requirements We are seeking a registered nurse with the authority to work in Swedish healthcare. You have excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Desirable The position requires work experience as a nurse and experience from an endoscopy clinic or an interest in learning. Since the work involves close collaboration with other professions, good teamwork skills are essential. You have an interest in medical technology, take responsibility for your work, and are committed to your role. You work meticulously and are flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented.
