In home healthcare, we work in nine different teams – four in rural areas and five in the city center. Each team consists of nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, and we also have nursing assistants and rehabilitation assistants who work across teams. As a nurse in home healthcare, you play an important role in meeting the patient's individual care needs – physically, mentally, socially, and culturally. The work involves great independence while being part of a team where collaboration, knowledge exchange, and support are a natural part of everyday work. Your work mainly includes nursing tasks, and you have overall responsibility for the nursing assistants' care activities. You work closely with primary care physicians through the municipality's health centers and actively contribute to creating safe and quality care for patients. Your work tasks include: lead, prioritize, and coordinate care work based on the patient's needs assess medical needs organize and initiate doctor contacts follow up, document, and assess self-care prescribe and manage medications and medical devices We are looking for someone who is confident in your professional role and has a professional approach. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and adapt easily to different situations. With good planning skills and sound judgment, you create security for both patients and colleagues. The work includes day, evening, and weekend shifts with work every fifth weekend and approximately 1–2 evening shifts per five-week period. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse, preferably a district nurse. B driver's license. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. The position requires an extract from the criminal record register. The extract should be for HVB homes and is ordered via the Police website.
