Surgical Center Umeå's primary goal and mission is to provide highly specialized, high-quality care and research for patients in the northern healthcare region. The clinic is divided into sections for urology, breast, endocrine, vascular, colorectal, and upper gastrointestinal surgery, provided in both outpatient and inpatient settings. We are now seeking a nurse to work on the urological and gynecological department. On the department, we investigate, treat, and operate on people with gynecological and urological cancer. We also handle a large number of acute admissions, such as infections, urinary tract bleeding, pregnancy complications, and general surgical patients when we have capacity. Our care is characterized by a holistic approach where many different professional categories are engaged and collaborate in teams to achieve the best possible results. We are a small team with strong cohesion and good collaboration. We enjoy humor but can also navigate complex situations together. DUTIES As a nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. You will work within a broad surgical field with highly specialized surgery and acute care, where you have an important role in leading, prioritizing, and coordinating nursing work within your nursing team on the department. We work in teams, and you collaborate closely with nursing colleagues, nursing assistants, physicians, and other specialized functions. We want you to have a secure start with us, so we will design an individual onboarding plan so you can feel confident learning the work here. We adapt the length of onboarding to your knowledge and needs. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed nurse. We consider experience in hospital care as a merit.
