About the operations: The municipality's licensed personnel—nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists—are responsible for healthcare up to the nursing level in Vallentuna Municipality's own operations 24/7. This includes two elderly care facilities, Korallen and Väsbygården, day activities, as well as LSS-accommodations, daily activities, and social psychiatry. We are now seeking a night nurse. The position is a permanent employment at approximately 87% with a start date of October 1, 2026, or by agreement. Working with us means you have independent, varied, and engaging work. Job Responsibilities As a night nurse, you are responsible for care interventions, medical assessments, and collaboration with care staff to ensure safe and secure care during the night. You also have an important supervisory function and provide support to night staff in their daily work. We are looking for someone who is professional and confident in your professional role, with strong ability to make independent assessments and act based on the needs of the operations and patients. You are committed and take responsibility for your work by contributing energy, initiative, and a genuine interest in providing good and safe care. You are thorough and work in a structured manner with focus on quality in assessments, documentation, and implementation of care interventions. You are development-oriented and actively contribute to the operation's development by being open to new working methods and sharing your knowledge and experience. You have good collaboration skills and build trusting relationships through attentive, respectful, and solution-oriented working methods. You are service-oriented and treat residents, family members, and colleagues with care, respect, and a willingness to find solutions. Great emphasis is placed on you being self-directed, able to structure and plan your work efficiently. You will be based at one of our elderly care facilities but may, if needed and with short notice, be required to perform tasks at all operations. Qualifications Licensed nurse with at least two years of professional experience Good computer skills Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written Class B driver's license It is advantageous if you have: Experience in municipal healthcare Specialist nursing training in elderly care.
