Surgical Centre Umeå's primary goal and mission is to conduct highly specialized and high-quality care and research for patients in the northern healthcare region. The clinic is divided into sections for urology, breast, endocrine, vascular, colorectal, and upper gastrointestinal surgery, conducted in both outpatient and inpatient care. Nursing at Surgical Centre Umeå is characterized by a holistic approach where many different professional categories are engaged and collaborate for the best results. In collaboration with Umeå University, we also conduct successful research with both clinical and preclinical focus. At the Endoscopy Unit at Norrland University Hospital, we operate modern endoscopy services where we perform advanced examinations and treatments of the gastrointestinal tract. We perform gastroscopy to examine the stomach and upper gastrointestinal tract, sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy to diagnose and treat diseases of the colon, and ERCP and more to examine and treat conditions in the bile ducts and pancreas. With us, you get varied work with both patient-facing and administrative tasks. In reception work, you are an important support for the patient and assist the physician during endoscopic examinations, and are responsible for cleaning instruments. Administrative tasks include telephone consultation, appointment scheduling, and waiting list management. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed registered nurse and want to continue developing and growing in your role as a registered nurse. You are positive, stress-resilient, flexible, and service-oriented.
