As an ELSA nurse, you have a permanent position but work in different departments to broaden your competence. You typically work for six or twelve months in each department before moving. Placement changes occur on March 1 and September 1. As an ELSA nurse, you are part of the department's regular staffing during your time there—you do not add to the regular personnel. As an ELSA nurse, your work is varied and suits you if you are curious and enjoy trying new things! This role is perfect if you are a newly graduated nurse who has not yet decided which area you want to work in, or if you are an experienced nurse who wants to expand your competence or try something new for a period. Your Future Workplace Höglandssjukhuset is one of three hospitals in Region Jönköpings län. The catchment area has approximately 110,000 residents. Planned and emergency specialist care is provided here around the clock, every day of the year. We view our employees' competence as key to our success and the residents' health. You do not need to have your license to apply for the position, but you must obtain it before starting your employment with us. As a person, you understand the importance of treating others well and you take responsibility for your tasks. As an ELSA nurse, you are someone who adapts easily to changing circumstances and enjoys varied work tasks. You have strong collaboration skills, are proactive, and take responsibility for both your own tasks and the broader picture.
