Are you a nurse curious about testing new challenges? Do you want to take the opportunity to work in different units and find what you're truly passionate about? Then this job is for you!
ELSA stands for Unit for Licensed Nurses in General Service. As an ELSA nurse, you are employed on a permanent basis, but you work in different departments to broaden your competence. You typically work for six or twelve months in each department before moving. Placement changes occur on March 1st and September 1st. As an ELSA nurse, you are part of the department's regular staffing while you are there—you are not in addition to regular personnel.
What We Offer You
As an ELSA nurse, your work is varied and suits you if you're curious and enjoy trying new things! The role is ideal for newly graduated nurses who haven't yet decided which area you want to work in, as well as for experienced nurses who want to expand your competence or try something new for a period. The position is a permanent, full-time employment. Start date is by agreement, but we hope you can begin with us as soon as possible. You do not need to have your nursing license to apply for the position, but you must have obtained your license before you start your employment with us.
As an ELSA nurse, you get the opportunity to gain experience from different departments and bring good practices forward to new placements. You gain insight into many different operations and grow and develop in your role as a nurse. Additionally, you have the opportunity to build a valuable network across the entire hospital.
"After a couple of years as an ELSA nurse, you feel much more confident as a nurse, understand different operations, and have made many excellent contacts at the hospital."
