About the Operations The Emergency Department at Falu Hospital is tasked with providing specialized healthcare for acutely ill or injured citizens. This encompasses seven different medical specialist areas, around the clock. We work with patients in surgery, medicine, cardiology, infection, orthopedics, gynecology, and pediatrics. Job Responsibilities Are you a nurse who enjoys being at the center of action and has experience in emergency care? Do you thrive collaborating with others and prioritize keeping the patient in focus, and want variation in both work and pace? Then the emergency department is perfect for you. As a nurse at an emergency department, your work involves many patient encounters. At the first meeting, you prioritize the patient using the RETTS triage system. The patient should always be in focus, which means you as a nurse have a care responsibility for the patient during their stay with us.
