About the Service Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Dalarna provides specialized care for children and young people up to age 18 with serious mental health issues. Our service area is broad and covers mental health issues that occur in children from the newborn period through the end of the teenage years. The clinic has a team consisting of counselors, psychologists, treatment assistants, nurses, physicians, special education teachers, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, physical therapists, nursing assistants, and a unit manager. The clinic is beautifully located on the hospital grounds with the green space Hospital Park nearby. Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a nurse who wants to work with engaging, challenging, and important tasks where children, young people, and their families are at the center. As a new employee, you will be offered an individually designed schedule for onboarding as well as an introductory training where you learn more about all activities within the psychiatry division. Together with physicians, you will among other things be responsible for medical follow-ups where you meet patients. These medical follow-ups can be with patients diagnosed with, for example, ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, and/or other conditions. Patient visits take place at the clinic or digitally via the Min Vård app. As a nurse, you provide telephone advice via TeleQ and you also participate in assessments of new and ongoing patients. Over time, group education may also become relevant. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM with the possibility of flexible hours if the service allows. Region Dalarna provides a wellness allowance of 2,000 kr/year. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed Registered Nurse Meritorious: Advanced education in psychiatry Experience in psychiatry STEP training Personal suitability and ability to collaborate are important to us as you will work in a team-based setting and have collaboration interfaces with other clinics, inpatient care, and municipal services as well as schools.
