In Åsele, we operate our emergency vehicle that handles acute cases in collaboration with Åsele Municipality. WORK TASKS As a nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure. As a nurse in the ambulance, you meet patients of all ages who have suffered acute illness or injury or who need care during transport. You assess and treat patients at home, at accident scenes, and during transport to healthcare facilities. The job is about making a difference for other people and showing humility while maintaining calm in demanding situations. In the ambulance, you work in a team consisting of a nurse-assistant nurse or nurse-nurse. Our nurses have medical responsibility. You and your colleague also have the ultimate responsibility to check at the beginning of each shift and during the shift that the ambulance has correct equipment so you can perform your duties in a patient-safe manner. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you are specialist-trained in ambulance care or another specialization that we consider valuable for the service. It is also advantageous to have professional experience from ambulance care or some other form of acute care. You have a B driver's license and good driving experience. It is advantageous if you have a C or C1 driver's license. You are proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing. Work in ambulance services can be physically demanding, so we require good physical endurance. As part of the recruitment process, you will undergo a fitness test and driving test.
