About the Operation Ambulance Care Dalarna is a regional clinic with 11 ambulance stations from Särna in the north to Avesta in the south. Job Responsibilities As a nurse in Ambulance Care, you work with prehospital emergency care where you meet patients of all ages who have suffered acute illness or injury. You assess and treat patients at home, at accident scenes, and during transport to medical facilities. The focus is on good care and compassion in patient encounters. You work both independently and as part of a team where collaboration and knowledge sharing ensure the best possible care for the sick and injured. You work according to current treatment guidelines for Ambulance Care Dalarna. At our Vansbro station, 16 employees staff a 24-hour ambulance, an assessment unit, and a patient transport service. We have a good work climate and we care for one another. We use individual schedule planning and work involves shifts during day, night, and weekends. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed Nurse Specialist Nurse degree with focus on ambulance care If you do not have specialist training in ambulance care when you apply, you must complete the training within an agreed timeframe. The employer provides support for completing the training. You must be approved according to Ambulance Care Dalarna's guidelines regarding employment tests and introductory training. Driver's license with authorization to operate a motor vehicle with a total weight exceeding 3.5 tons. Swimming proficiency of 200 m, certificate required If you do not have the license when you apply, you must begin obtaining category C1 driver's license within an agreed timeframe. The employer covers the cost of medical examination and driving school.
