At Vilhelmina Medical Center, approximately 60 employees work within various professions. We are part of Southern Lapland, South base unit, which consists of Åsele, Dorotea, and Vilhelmina. Our ambition is to collaborate between the locations. In addition to the clinic and ward, we operate two mountain branch clinics: a district clinic in Saxnäs and one in Dikanäs. Do you want to work as a nurse in an organization with a strong team spirit and high competence? We are looking for someone who wants to become part of our dedicated team at the acute care unit. We are now seeking a nurse for our acute care unit for a temporary position of 6 months to one year. Applications will be reviewed continuously during the application period. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS You will work with doctors, nurses' assistants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists in a close and well-functioning collaboration. We value community, respect, and making use of each other's knowledge and experiences. The unit has 8 care beds and patients come to the unit via our clinic or are transferred from the hospital. Daily rounds are held on the unit, followed by ward work. We collaborate with the municipality in the discharge process. We have an elderly care clinic and the district nurse actively participates in the discharge process. Work shifts start at 07:00, with shift changes at 13:30 and 21:30. During the night, one nurse and one nurse's assistant work and are responsible for the unit and the clinic. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed nurse. Previous experience working in a care unit and in acute healthcare is advantageous. You are confident in your role and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You also have a strong commitment to providing people with safe and secure care. You want to contribute to a safe and open work environment where your professional approach stands out in your interactions with both patients and colleagues. Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
