The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology consists of labor and delivery, postpartum care, gynecology ward, and gynecology clinic. We are a small operation where the workload on the gynecology ward varies significantly, which means you will have varying work tasks with great opportunities to learn and develop. Those of us working within the operation are nurses, nursing assistants, midwives, doctors, counselors, finance assistants, and other administrative staff. We all contribute to close collaboration with a focus on our patients. Your Work Tasks As a nurse with us, you will work on our gynecology ward and certain shifts at our gynecology clinic according to schedule. On the ward, you are responsible for all hospitalized patients with various gynecological issues or illnesses. At the clinic, work is based on clinic procedures such as telephone consultation, 1177, acute flow, assisting in examination rooms, and coordinating and maintaining an overview of the clinic for the day. You will also be engaged as a contact nurse for our cancer patients going forward. Who Are You? You are a licensed nurse and we would like you to have a few years of experience in the profession and now want to develop yourself within women's health. We would like you to have a strong interest in working in women's healthcare and also be willing to serve as a contact nurse for our cancer patients; if you also have training as a contact nurse, we see that as particularly meritorious. You enjoy collaborating around patients and have a good ability to cooperate both internally and across boundaries with other units. As a person, you are attentive, humble, and have an accommodating manner. If you are also positively minded and curious about new challenges, we believe you could be one of our new colleagues.
