You will be part of a technical team responsible for operations, development, and customer deliverables. The work is conducted close to the datacenter environment with a focus on delivering stable and scalable solutions, in a culture characterized by high technical expertise and strong collaboration.
Responsibilities
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with the operational management of Miss Group's datacenter. You will play a key role in ensuring stability and availability in a business-critical environment where high reliability requirements are placed.
You will work both reactively and proactively, from troubleshooting and incident management to improving processes, automating operations, and optimizing infrastructure over time. The role has a clear focus on Windows Server environments and networking, but also encompasses a holistic perspective on operations and development.
You will become an important part of the team, contributing to the creation of sustainable long-term solutions and improved operational efficiency.
Examples of Responsibilities:
Operations, maintenance, and further development of Windows Server and Linux-based environments
Ensuring high availability, redundancy, and stability in the datacenter environment
Incident management and troubleshooting at 2nd/3rd line level
Automation and improvement of operational processes
Documentation of solutions, procedures, and methods
Required Qualifications, Experience, and Personal Qualities
Experience with Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, GPO, Hyper-V, or equivalent)
Solid understanding of IT operations, availability, and security
Good knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls)
Valid driver's license
Flluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious
Experience with operations in datacenter and/or larger IT environments
Basic knowledge of Linux
To thrive in the role of Site Reliability Engineer at Miss Group, you work methodically and take responsibility for your tasks from start to finish. You have an analytical approach and can prioritize in an operations-critical environment where multiple incidents occur in parallel. You are solution-oriented and combine the ability to manage incidents with a long-term focus on stability and improvement.
You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, contributing experience from operations, support, and change management. With a strong technical interest, you naturally see opportunities for efficiency improvements, and you are communicative, responsive, and share knowledge in a clear manner.
