DSV Haulage AB (DSV Åkeri) is a wholly owned subsidiary of DSV Road. We operate at 21 locations across the country and transport 8 million packages and shipments annually. Our operations consist of pickup, distribution, and long-haul transportation within DSV's domestic network for goods and packages as well as temperature-controlled items. DSV Haulage is now seeking a Site Manager who will be responsible for the Värnamo business area. As Site Manager at DSV Haulage in Värnamo, you have a strategic and overarching role where you have ultimate responsibility for ensuring the delivery of our transport services in the Värnamo district and surrounding area. You have financial responsibility for your business area, which means ensuring at an overarching level that local operational targets are achieved through high cost efficiency, productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability. In addition, you also have personnel responsibility for our transport manager and you lead the work through subordinate managers who are responsible for daily operations. Together you will develop our facility and work continuously to improve efficiency and strengthen our production while also ensuring our employees' work environment, well-being, and job satisfaction. Given our operational field, comprehensive and important occupational health and safety responsibility is also included. You report to our General Manager at DSV Haulage. The work is based from our office in Värnamo, which is located adjacent to our terminal. About You As a person, we believe you have many years of experience in leadership roles that have included full responsibility for both finances and personnel. It is a merit if you have experience from the transport industry, but the main thing is that you have worked in an industry that involves complex flows such as logistics or production. Furthermore, you are accustomed to working with KPIs regarding productivity, efficiency, and quality. You are also an experienced IT and systems user and you are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Your professional qualifications are important to us, but your personality is of equal importance, and we see a leader with an interest in both people, collaboration, structure, and efficiency. Through your positive energy and inspiring approach, you promote both productivity and create a good work environment. You are good at identifying improvement opportunities and thrive in a developmental and solution-oriented role.
