We have specialized expertise in medical nursing care and are tasked with providing care for clients with special healthcare needs. Job Description With one of our nurses moving on to a new position within the agency, we are now seeking a new nurse to join the team at Östfora LVM-Hem! A typical workday includes everything from supportive conversations to emergency interventions—always with our clients' best interests in focus. As a nurse, you hold medical responsibility for clients. You are also the primary nurse for patients and work closely with your colleagues, both nurses and other care staff. You also collaborate with social services and other healthcare providers. Together, you ensure that clients in our care receive the security, care, and treatment they need. Documentation is also an important part of your work, and you document according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Social Services Act (SOL). We use the medical record systems TakeCare and KAJ. Common tasks: Health consultations Nursing care Assessments Treatments Documentation Medication management Consultation and advice Coordination of care services Work Schedule: Work hours follow a schedule—days, evenings, and every third weekend. The permanent position is full-time. Some shifts involve working alone in your nurse role alongside the rest of the care team. Orientation: As a new employee, you will complete an orientation program combining theory and practice. The program prepares you for your new role at SiS. Some parts of the orientation are residential (Stockholm/Gothenburg). A requirement for employment is your ability to participate in the orientation program. As a nurse, you complete Module 1 (three days residential) and Module 3 (three non-consecutive weeks residential). Is this you? You must also have: Documented experience as a nurse Good Swedish, spoken and written Valid driver's license (Category B) Access to a car Merit points for experience in: Somatic and psychiatric nursing care Substance abuse and addiction treatment Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Start date by agreement.
