SiS LVM-hem Östfora in Järlåsa, northwest of Uppsala, admits men with alcohol, drug, or polysubstance abuse in combination with mental health issues. We have specialized expertise in medical nursing care and are tasked with providing care for clients with special healthcare needs.
Job Description
As an institutional nurse manager, you will be the supervising nurse for the nurses working at the facility. Your task is to coordinate, lead, and support the development of the facility's healthcare work through delegation from the operations manager. An important part involves collaborating with other professional groups at the facility. You have overall administrative responsibility for the facility's healthcare organization. The position requires good knowledge of the laws and regulations governing healthcare work, so you can drive quality assurance matters.
This role corresponds to the responsibilities of a medically responsible nurse (MAS).
Work hours are scheduled daytime, Monday through Friday.
In this role, you may also act as a substitute for the facility's quality manager.
Qualifications
You must be a licensed nurse, preferably with specialized training in psychiatric and/or substance abuse care. Previous experience as a civil servant, supervisory responsibilities, and collaboration with other professional groups are merits. The work requires good teamwork skills, stress resilience, and personal maturity. You need to be flexible and accustomed to working independently. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability in the hiring process. A driver's license and access to a car are requirements.

The position is a permanent full-time position beginning with a six-month probationary period. Start date to be agreed upon.
