SiS LVM-Hem Hessleby, located in beautiful forest surroundings just outside Mariannelund, accommodates men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We have specialized expertise in receiving clients with mental health issues or disruptive behavior. We are tasked with providing care for clients with special care needs.
Job Description
Do you want to be part of creating vital change for vulnerable people? If so, the job of Treatment Educator at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a Treatment Educator, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the youth and clients living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified nursing and motivational work and with providing support in daily life. Drawing on your knowledge of care and treatment work, you actively contribute to implementing treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal certainty, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You help ensure that security is maintained according to our procedures and you contribute to making daily routines flow smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Contact person responsibilities are also one of your duties. The work may also include mentoring new employees and interns. This is a job for someone who sees a positive challenge in working with vulnerable people in difficult life situations. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Qualifications
To succeed in your work, you have a well-founded positive view of humanity. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS values of being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a strong ability to create engagement and participation among our youth and clients. As a person, you are confident and find it easy to build relationships with youth and clients as well as with other team members. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You work well with others and can handle conflicts constructively.
You should also have:
A degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work or education from a university that we assess as equivalent
B-category driver's license
Good Swedish in speaking and writing

Employment:
These positions are permanent full-time employment and begin with a six-month probationary period. Start date by mutual agreement.
