WORK TASKS You will be part of a nursing care team built on a multidisciplinary basis according to the individual's needs. The role includes work tasks such as: • supervise staff in collaboration with the nursing care responsible registered nurse, • guide colleagues based on BPSD and implementation plans, • be responsible for implementing BPSD registration and writing action plans with follow-up and documentation in Viva, • compile and report results for the operational area to the manager and the Medically Responsible Registered Nurse, • together with the responsible manager assess the need for specific work tasks and in consultation with the manager create a work plan for how the work will be carried out, • according to the established plan continuously provide feedback on completed work to the manager, • assist the manager during the annual follow-up of set operational goals, • participate in meetings with relatives/next of kin at the residential facility. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are trained as a Dementia Care Specialist or equivalent and have good computer skills for documentation as well as good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. You need to have documented practical experience in adapting care completely according to the individual's unique needs, history, and remaining abilities. You must also have documented knowledge of working structurally for care free from coercion and restrictions. Further, you should have documented • experience in training within your area of expertise, • experience working with and registering in Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms in Dementia (BPSD registry), and • experience in facilitating family groups, conversations, and guiding families through the disease progression. It is very advantageous if you have experience working within psychiatry.
