Public (municipal) service provider operating in Olaines municipality AS "Olaines ūdens un siltums" (reg. no. 50003182001) is seeking to hire a heating and water systems engineer Job Responsibilities: Organize and manage service team operations, ensuring effective collaboration and goal achievement for a team of 9 employees; Manage water supply and sewage system technical operations, maintenance and repairs; conduct general or emergency inspections of managed buildings' internal networks; Plan water supply and sewage system repairs for managed buildings, determine scope, calculate costs, maintain records, etc.; Participate in developing repair plans for managed residential buildings; Be responsible for material procurement and write-offs; Cooperate with contractors performing work, monitor work completion within specified timeframes and quality standards. Requirements for Candidates: Preferred experience in a heating and water systems engineer position; Preferred level 2 higher education in engineering sciences, or current final-year student status; C level 1st degree state language proficiency; Excellent computer skills and ability to navigate technical documentation; Analytical thinking, ability to formulate and resolve various types of problems, ability to work effectively in a team; Category B driver's license; Positive attitude, excellent communication skills and initiative.
