Sigrid Rudebecks Gymnasium is an independent, non-profit upper secondary school located in central Gothenburg. We offer two university-preparatory programs and have approximately 550 students and about forty employees. We are now expanding our student health services with an additional school nurse working 50%. We are looking for you—a licensed registered nurse with specialist training as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse. As a school nurse, you are responsible for the medical component of student health services. Your mission is to work preventively and promote health at both group and individual levels to help ensure all students have the best possible conditions for learning, health, and development. Working together with the existing school nurse, school counselor, special education teacher, school psychologist, school physician, and school leadership, you will work as part of the school's student health team to create a safe and inclusive school environment where each student receives support in achieving educational goals. In this role, you contribute medical expertise to student health work. You document, follow up, and evaluate interventions according to applicable guidelines and contribute to high quality and patient safety in the operation. You document your work in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act; we use the journal system Prorenata. You thrive with a focus on long-term, preventive, and health-promoting work with students and can balance this preventive work with interventional work when needed. You meet young people with empathy and easily build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You have a strong ability to collaborate, can be flexible when needed, and are confident and calm in your professional role. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
