About the Position Ikett Personalpartner is seeking a laser operator for Siemens Energy in Trollhättan for a long-term need - with the goal of becoming employed by Siemens Energy. Job Description: As a laser operator, you are responsible for setting up, monitoring, and operating fiber laser machines (Trumpf), as well as performing laser cutting and laser welding according to drawings and welding procedures (WPS). The role includes inspecting dimensions and weld quality according to applicable quality standards, documenting completed work and any deviations, and actively participating in improvement initiatives, production meetings, and quality reviews to ensure efficient and high-quality production. About You: We are looking for someone with a background in laser cutting/welding or equivalent experience who thrives in an environment where safety, quality, and precision are prioritized. As a person, you are thorough, responsible, and organized, with strong collaboration and communication skills. Requirements: - CNC training or equivalent education. - Experience with laser cutting and welding in the workshop/manufacturing industry. - Ability to read and interpret drawings and welding symbols. - Understanding of material properties and basic knowledge of laser parameters, fixturing, and clamping. - B-class driver's license. Merits: - Forklift & overhead crane certification. - Knowledge of LEAN/5S or similar production systems. - Experience working with Trumpf control systems. Desired Start Date: By mutual agreement. Work Hours: Day shift during training period, thereafter 2-shift schedule.
