Through a thin plastic film - more exactly a separator film - we make the lithium-ion battery durable and safe. It's one of the key components for the optimal functioning of the battery. We were founded in 2003, originating in the tech-hub city of Shenzhen, China. Our business activities have been based on innovation since the outset. Since 2021 we have established a European headquarters in Eskilstuna, Sweden! Here we will have one of Europe's most modern production plants that will be a major contributor in electrifying transportation. ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Shift Technician at Senior Material, you'll play a vital role in operating machines, packing, cleaning, and all other activities related to the production of separator film. Joining a driven and growing department, you will collaborate closely with internal departments and work in close partnership with our Operations team! In summary, you will play an important role in the Operations department! Job responsibilities · Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues, and document them after resolution. · Responsible for implementing improvements to process, quality, and output while exploring new solutions. · Stay current with all related instructions, SOPs, policies, and documentation, and train other operators. · Responsible for implementing experiments and collecting data upon completion. · Operate machines, perform cleaning, and carry out all other activities related to separator film production. · Accurately complete all required data, checklists, process daily reports, and other shift technician-related documentation. · Handle products with care and ensure they meet all quality requirements. · Always prioritize your safety and your colleagues' safety, and handle machines with care. · Maintain open communication with managers, operators, and all other employees, and ensure the next shift is informed about relevant work from your shift. Job competence requirements · Completed upper secondary education. · Preferably previous industrial experience. · Experience in industrial processes. · 5S and Lean thinking. · Flexible and supportive toward your colleagues.
