Åkerblads Gästgiveri, Hotell & Spa is a family-owned hotel business located in beautiful Tällberg, Dalarna. The property has been owned by the Åkerblad family since the 1400s, and today the 19th–22nd generation of the Åkerblad family works together with a strong team of 50 to provide guests with a memorable experience. Experiences are our keyword—it's what we convey to guests from the moment they check in until they long to return to the sparkling waters of Siljan. Our goal is to deliver a unique product, which is reflected not only in our historic premises but also in the hotel's 73 individually decorated guest rooms, each one unique. Our restaurant works with locally produced ingredients and personal flavors, serving both conference guests and weekend guests. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and is focused on continuous development where quality and service are our guiding principles. Server / Waitress, 1 position, temporary employment Your responsibilities… As a Server/Waitress, you will be part of a team working to serve and meet our guests' high standards. Your main responsibilities include serving food and beverages to both lunch and dinner guests. Lunches are offered as buffet and plate service, while dinners are dominated by our continuously updated à la carte menu. Your duties also include preparing and resetting the dining room, such as setting tables, dishwashing, polishing, etc. There is also some bar service involved, and most importantly, ensuring our fantastic guests feel welcome. Competency profile… You have work experience with à la carte service and good knowledge of wines. Your most important qualities are strong teamwork skills and the ability to be an integral part of a cohesive team. You must also be able to work quickly and prioritize while maintaining quality standards in line with management's requirements. We place great emphasis on good chemistry, professional pride, and your interest in staying current with the industry's continuous development.
