Family-run restaurant open Monday through Sunday with lunch and à la carte service, and a liquor license. We are looking for a server/waitress who is willing to take on responsibility, is driven, and can deliver excellent service. We see that you are responsible, independent, and always maintain both great attitude and top-notch service. We are looking for someone with experience and knowledge from similar work to provide service in a confident, comfortable, and personal way. For the tasks at hand, you need to be in good physical condition and have quick hands. Working hours vary, and it is extremely important that you can easily prioritize and work and perform under stress. We prefer that you have restaurant experience but it is not a requirement, as we place great emphasis on your personal qualities and how you might fit into our team. The position requires some grit, strong self-confidence, and good multitasking abilities where you don't stress easily. Since it is a family-run restaurant, it can be both busy and slow. Sometimes you may need to step in and help and get clean dishes out quickly, and sometimes you need to clear the outdoor seating before the rain comes. Therefore, it is important that you are self-directed and can see what needs to be done before being asked. At certain times you will be working alone on the floor, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently.
