As a Service Aide, you will be an important part of the operation and will support care staff by ensuring that facilities, meal service, storage areas, and common spaces function safely and professionally. In this role, you combine service, kitchen tasks, and facilities maintenance. You work both independently and with others and need to be flexible since tasks vary based on operational needs. Service and Internal Support Responsible for order and comfort in common areas Stock consumable materials and maintain storage areas Handle laundry and receive deliveries Perform end-of-shift cleaning of patient rooms after discharge or transfer Clean and refill coffee machines Meal Service Serve patient meals according to applicable hygiene and food safety procedures Conduct self-inspections according to established procedures Prepare refreshments and light snacks for meetings and training sessions Order food and groceries based on operational needs Maintain order and good hygiene in the kitchen Facilities Maintenance Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms and common areas Work according to established cleaning, hygiene, and infection control procedures Contribute to a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff When team members are absent, you are expected to be able to substitute for both kitchen and facilities staff. To thrive in this role, you need to: Be able to work carefully, independently, and in an organized manner Enjoy collaboration and being part of a team Be flexible and able to switch between different tasks Have a hygiene-conscious work approach Have professional and respectful interaction with patients, family members, and colleagues It is an advantage if you: Have experience in service, kitchen work, or care and welfare Have experience in facilities maintenance Have experience working according to basic hygiene procedures Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing It is important that you feel comfortable working in a clinical environment and understand the importance of good hygiene, order, and patient safety. More Information and Application This is a permanent position. We apply a 6-month probationary period. The position is full-time, 37 hours per week.
