Things are going well for Wirtgen and we now need more dedicated service technicians. We are therefore looking for a service technician for our operations in Alvesta, where you will be based at our Swedish headquarters and work both in a workshop environment and at customer sites in southern Sweden.
Here you will be part of an established and cohesive team where you have colleagues, spare parts, technical support, and a workshop close at hand. At the same time, you get the freedom and variety that comes with working on-site with customers. You will drive a fully equipped service vehicle and have a competent team and an engaged manager backing you up.
Your Responsibilities
As a service technician, you will work with service, repair, and troubleshooting of our machinery, with a focus on:
*Asphalt pavers from VÖGELE
*Milling machines from Wirtgen
*Rollers from HAMM
You will, among other things:
*Troubleshoot, repair, and service machinery in the workshop and at customer sites
*Handle warranty cases, upgrades, and machine startups
*Document completed work in app/computer
*Have daily customer contact and build long-term relationships
*Collaborate with colleagues in service, spare parts, and support to ensure high quality and good service
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
You have:
*Experience working with construction machinery, vehicles, industry, or similar
*Good technical understanding in areas such as electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical systems
*Alternatively, experience as a field or maintenance technician in another field
*Good knowledge of Swedish and English
*Category B driver's license
