About the Position Are you a technically-minded problem solver who enjoys working both in a workshop and on-site at customer locations? Do you want varied work where no two weeks are the same? Scandinavian Pile Driving (SPD) develops and manufactures advanced drilling and piling equipment for some of the Nordic region's most demanding foundation projects. Now we are looking, together with Dala Industrisupport, for a service technician who wants to become an important part of the company's continued growth. As a service technician, you will work with service, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of SPD's machinery. Work takes place both in the workshop in Sala and at customer sites throughout Sweden, and when needed in Norway and Finland. This role is perfect for you if you appreciate independent work, enjoy traveling, and are motivated by solving technical challenges. Responsibilities As a service technician, you will work with: Service and repair of construction machinery and piling equipment Preventive maintenance Emergency troubleshooting and repair at customer sites Documentation of completed work and service reports Function checks and commissioning Customer contact and on-site technical support The work is varied with approximately half your time spent traveling. Some service assignments are planned well in advance while others require quick response where you may need to travel on short notice. When service workload is lighter, you will also assist in the company's production, making this a broad and developmental role. Qualifications We believe you have experience in service and repair of construction machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks, heavy vehicles, or similar mechanical equipment. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: Experience with mechanical work and troubleshooting Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems Good computer skills as troubleshooting is done using diagnostic systems Driver's License Category B Good knowledge of Swedish and English It is a merit if you have certifications in truck operation, crane, hot work, welding, or load handling equipment, but this is not required.
