Description Upper Secondary School Center Area is part of the Education Administration and includes Hvitfeldtska, Schillerska, The International High School, and Angeredsgymnasiet. Our service organization is responsible for facilities, cleaning services, inventory, and custodial work. You will work in a team with service technicians, cleaning staff, cleaning coordinators, and a manager. Together, you will create a safe, solution-oriented, and professional service flow for the school's staff and students. Responsibilities As a service technician, you are a key person in the school's daily operations. You are responsible for ensuring that our facilities and equipment are safe and functional – which ultimately contributes to a good study environment. We are a newly established unit in an expansive phase, and you will be an important part of building a new service unit within the center area's facilities, together with your colleagues and manager. We actively work to reduce our environmental impact, and you and your colleagues play an important role in this. As a service technician, you will work both operatively with everything from ensuring that technical equipment such as projectors and copiers function properly, handling mail and packages, internal distribution, performing minor repairs, moving materials/furniture, managing recycling, replacing light sources, and preparing classrooms and offices. You will perform SBA (systematic fire safety work) with self-inspection. In administrative work, you will administer and follow up on service requests, chemical registration, and work with access systems, keys, and alarms. You will have contact with everyone from students, staff, City Properties, and Renova, to external tenants. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is both technically competent and service-oriented, with strong commitment to creating a functioning school environment. You have a high degree of self-drive, but are also a team player with good collaboration skills. You are solution-focused, organized, and adapt well when needed. You contribute ideas to improve work methods and procedures. You enjoy varied work days in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize well while maintaining a professional approach in these situations. Post-secondary education in property services, technology, or similar (or equivalent experience and education) (required) Previous experience working with property-related matters and AV technology (required) Experience with case management systems Understand, speak, read, and write Swedish without difficulty (required) Experience with lock and alarm systems and systematic fire safety work (SBA) Very good computer skills (required) Good physical capacity – the work involves heavy lifting and physical tasks (required) What You Get From Us An important and meaningful job in stimulating school environments with varied work days where you get to use both your mind and hands.
