About the Operation Facilities Management's core mission is to provide the conditions for well-functioning properties in our complex operations, ranging from hospitals to bus terminals. Facilities Management Ludvika is part of Regionservice, a service unit that primarily serves healthcare but also supports other parts of the Region's operations. Regionservice is part of Region Dalarna and has approximately 600 employees with an annual turnover of about 500 Mkr. The operation is quality certified according to ISO 9001 and environmentally certified according to ISO 14001. Responsibilities As a technician in facilities management, you need to be versatile and enjoy a varied workday. You work in a team with three other technicians where you support each other and are expected to handle all aspects of facilities operations. Regarding preventive maintenance (FU), you are primarily responsible for your specialty area but may also need to assist other disciplines as needed. You are on call every fourth week and must be available with a maximum of 1 hour response time to the hospital 24/7. During winter in difficult snow conditions, you may be called out at night during your on-call period to plow the hospital area, emergency entrance, ambulance pad, parking lots, and walkways, etc. You will therefore receive training and certification for our snowplow equipment. As compensation for the lost weekend due to on-call duty, you receive a free Friday the week after each on-call shift. You also have Thursday afternoon off before the free Friday, depending on hours worked in. Our technicians are each specialists in a work area—electrical, fire safety, ventilation, etc.—and together you create comprehensive expertise for our assignments. The work is developmentally rewarding but sometimes also demanding, which is why we continuously work on creating good working conditions, clear responsibility distribution, and engagement. Qualifications Requirements: Technical education in one of facilities management's work areas: Electrical, Gas, Fire Safety, Ventilation, Plumbing, Controls, or equivalent background. Fluency in Swedish, spoken and written. Previous experience in facilities management, as a technician or through assignments. Manual B-class driver's license. Meritorious: Education in plumbing or energy optimization. Documented experience in plumbing or energy optimization. E-class driver's license or extended B-class with experience operating heavy equipment.
