Job Responsibilities As a service technician, you work with service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Hammar's products. The work is primarily performed in the workshop in Olsfors where you work with both new and used machines as well as customer machines that come in for service and repair. The position can be adapted based on your experience and skills. For certain roles, field service at the customer site is also included, and if you have previous experience, there is an opportunity to take greater responsibility by supporting the Service Manager with planning and coordination. Examples of job responsibilities: • Service, maintenance, and repair of Hammar's side loaders. • Troubleshooting in hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. • Modifications, upgrades, and customer customizations. • Handling of warranty, complaint, and service cases. • Delivery inspections and functional testing. • Technical support to customers and colleagues. • Documentation of completed work. Depending on the role, the position may also include: • Field service and emergency service calls at customer sites. • Customer visits with the company's service vehicle. • Planning and prioritizing work in the workshop. • Support to the Service Manager in daily operations. • Temporary expanded responsibility during peak periods or absences. Employment Type: Permanent Position (with 6-month probation period) Work Hours: Daytime, full-time (100%) Start Date: By agreement Work Location: Olsfors, just outside Borås. Background and Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with experience in service, maintenance, or repair of construction machinery, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, or similar equipment. We would like you to have: • Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical systems. • Ability to read and understand technical drawings. • Good computer skills. • B-class driver's license. • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A forklift certificate is a merit, as is experience with field service, welding, machine construction, technical support, and customer contact. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and have a strong technical interest. You work independently when needed but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues. You are quality-conscious, take own initiatives, and have a service-oriented work approach where both customer and end result are in focus.
