ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Service Technician - Gas & Detection, you will work on-site with customers providing service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas and detection systems. The role makes you an important technical specialist who ensures that customers' safety systems function as they should.
You will primarily work with:
Service and maintenance of gas and detection systems
Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
Replacing filters and components in aspirating detection systems
Testing and verifying system functions
Advisory support to customers regarding operation and functionality
Documentation and reporting of completed work
Initially, the focus is on service assignments, but for the right person, there are good opportunities to develop further toward system installation, design, and specialist roles within the field.
You will ideally work from home and largely plan your own workdays. Customer assignments are primarily in the areas of Båstad, Helsingborg, Malmö, Kristianstad, Olofström, and Karlskrona and surrounding regions. The company also has offices throughout Skåne and Blekinge, including Malmö, Helsingborg, Ystad, Hässleholm, Kristianstad, and Karlskrona.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone with experience from the fire and safety industry or other technical service operations who wants to develop within Gas & Detection.
For example, you could be:
A service technician in fire alarms, security, or building systems
A fire technician with experience in service and maintenance
A trained fire engineer or other relevant technical background
To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
Have technical understanding and interest in safety systems
Can perform service and troubleshooting independently
Enjoy customer contact and building long-term relationships
Are solution-oriented and enjoy solving technical problems
Want to develop within gas, detection, and safety systems
Requirements for the role:
B-category driving license
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Basic knowledge of English
It is advantageous if you have knowledge of:
Aspirating detection systems
Gas systems and related regulations
Fire alarms or other safety technical systems
