We are now looking for a service technician who wants to take responsibility for your own service district based in Falun. About the role As a service technician at Corob, you work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of our automated color mixing machines. Our solutions are used daily by paint retailers and industrial customers to ensure fast and accurate color mixing. You are responsible for your own geographic service district and build long-term relationships with your customers. You work from home with a service vehicle and plan your own workdays based on your service assignments. The role primarily consists of scheduled service visits, troubleshooting, and repairs at the customer's location. You work independently, but always have close support from experienced colleagues and technical expertise via phone and Teams. After each assignment, you document your work in our business system. The position is primarily based Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 and involves regular travel with approximately 20–30 overnight stays per year, although the number may vary depending on operational needs. When needed, service technicians also support each other across regional borders and sometimes in the rest of Scandinavia. You are responsible for a district that primarily covers Falun, Gävle, northern Uppland, and Dalarna, with some assignments to the west and south toward Örebro County. We would like you to be based in Falun or a nearby location. What do we offer you? We are looking for you who have a genuine technical interest and enjoy troubleshooting, solving problems, and working practically. Perhaps you work today as a service technician, maintenance technician, car mechanic, or workshop technician – or have another technical background where you have developed a good understanding of mechanics, electrical work, or electronics. You are responsible, structured, and enjoy independent work where you plan your days and build long-term relationships with customers. Documentation and administration in digital systems are a natural part of your work approach. The role involves regular travel and overnight stays, which means you need to enjoy mobile work and be flexible when needed. At the same time, you appreciate being part of a team where people support each other and work together to provide customers with the best possible service. Requirements • Experience with technical work, such as service, troubleshooting, or repair • Driver's license (category B) • Good digital skills and experience with Microsoft Office • Fluent Swedish, spoken and written • Good English, spoken and written Meritorious • Experience with electrical or electronic work • Vehicle technical background • Experience from service work at customer locations • Experience from the paint industry • Norwegian and/or Danish We warmly welcome your application!
