We are now looking for a service technician who wants to take responsibility for their own service district based in Falun. About the Role As a service technician at Corob, you will work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of our automated color mixing machines. Our solutions are used daily by paint retailers and industrial customers to ensure fast and accurate color mixing. You are responsible for your own geographic service district and build long-term relationships with your customers. You work from home with a service vehicle and plan your own working days based on your service assignments. The role consists mainly of scheduled service visits, troubleshooting, and repairs at the customer's site. You work independently, but always have close support from experienced colleagues and technical expertise via phone and Teams. After each assignment, you document your work in our business system. The position is primarily scheduled Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and involves regular travel with approximately 20–30 overnight stays per year, although the number may vary depending on business needs. When needed, service technicians also support each other across regional boundaries and sometimes in other Nordic countries. You are responsible for a district that primarily covers Falun, Gävle, northern Uppland, and Dalarna, with certain assignments to the west and south toward Örebro County. We prefer that you are based in Falun or a nearby area. We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and working practically. You may currently work as a service technician, maintenance technician, auto mechanic, or workshop technician—or have another technical background where you have developed a good understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, or electronics. You are responsible, well-organized, and enjoy independent work where you plan your days and build long-term relationships with customers. Documentation and administration in digital systems are a natural part of your working approach. The role involves regular travel and overnight stays, which means you need to be comfortable with a mobile job and be flexible when needed. At the same time, you appreciate being part of a team where people support each other and together work to provide customers with the best possible service. Requirements • Experience with technical work, such as service, troubleshooting, or repair • Class B driver's license • Good digital skills and experience with Microsoft Office • Fluent Swedish (spoken and written) • Good English (spoken and written) Meritorious • Experience with electrical or electronic systems • Automotive technical background • Experience from service work at customer sites • Experience from the paint industry • Norwegian and/or Danish We warmly welcome your application!
