Service Technician

We are currently looking for two service technicians to join our team in Gällivare. Are you already a well-coordinated team, or do you know someone you'd like to have as a colleague? Here you'll work with some of the market's most advanced crushing and screening equipment at our customers' sites, primarily in the mining industry in northern Sweden. It's varied work where no two weeks are alike, and you'll combine technical expertise with problem-solving in the field. About the Role As a service technician, you'll work with service, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of Sandvik's crushing and screening equipment. The work takes place both above and below ground, primarily serving mines in northern Sweden, but travel to customers in both Sweden and Norway is a natural part of the position. This is a job for you if you enjoy working at customer sites, like solving technical problems, and appreciate the freedom of independent work. Main Responsibilities Service, repair, and troubleshooting of crushing and screening equipment. Preventive maintenance and installations. Technical support and customer consulting. Documentation of completed work. Collaboration with colleagues in service, sales, and aftermarket. The work sometimes involves heavy mechanical tasks and suits you if you like working practically with large machinery and advanced technology. Your Background We believe you have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy practical work. You're curious, like solving problems, and are willing to take responsibility for your own work. You likely have experience as a mechanic, service technician, or in industry, construction, mining, or similar—but what matters most is your willingness and interest in learning. We'd like to see that you have: Upper secondary education in technology, vehicles, industry, or equivalent work experience Experience with mechanical work Good technical understanding and troubleshooting skills Class B driver's license Good knowledge of Swedish It's an advantage if you have experience with crushing and screening equipment, construction machinery, or mining equipment.
