We primarily work with the rental of: Work Platforms Construction Hoists Lifts Our products are rented to customers throughout the Nordic region, primarily in the construction and industrial sectors. About the Service Technician Role As a Service Technician at SÄVE Hyrmaskiner, you'll be an important part of a strong and cohesive team consisting of a depot manager, project managers, supervisors, assemblers, and service technicians. The work involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting work related to SÄVE Hyrmaskiner's rental products. You'll work both internally at the depot and externally at our customers' sites on various projects. This role suits you if you're solution-oriented, technically skilled, and enjoy varied workdays. You need to be able to communicate professionally with both colleagues and customers, and you should have a strong drive for service, quality, and development. We're looking for someone who is committed to continuous improvement and who takes responsibility for getting things done from start to finish. Responsibilities As a Service Technician, you will work with: Performing preventive maintenance and servicing of machinery at the depot. Conducting delivery and acceptance inspections of machinery going out from and returning to the depot. Troubleshooting and fixing machinery problems at customer job sites. Supporting supervisors and assemblers on ongoing projects and helping ensure project plans follow SÄVE Hyrmaskiner's project guidelines. Recording repairs, service work, and material orders. Communicating with customers at job sites and providing technical expertise, service, and problem-solving. Working proactively to develop internal processes to help the depot team perform better and grow. Qualifications We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in machinery, technology, and service. You have either relevant vocational training or good experience with similar tasks. We believe you'll succeed in this role if you are: Driven, positive, and responsible Solution-oriented and stress-resilient Thorough and quality-conscious Good at troubleshooting and practical repair work Comfortable with customer contact and clear communication Accustomed to working independently while being part of a team Someone who takes responsibility and completes what you start You need to be able to manage multiple tasks in parallel while having the ability to prioritize correctly and drive your work through to completion. Customer contact is an important part of the role. Therefore, we'd like to see that you're comfortable communicating via phone, email, and digital booking or business systems.
