About the Position We are seeking a service technician for our client company located in Nässjö. As a candidate, you should live in the local area since the position is intended to transition to the client after the hiring period. In this service technician role, you will travel to the company's customers and perform ongoing maintenance and service on their facilities to ensure reliable power generation operations. You will also handle repairs and troubleshooting, conduct test runs and modifications. Machines will be inspected and old components replaced or upgraded. Welding may be part of the work. You have workshop mechanical training and/or experience with repair work on heavy machinery. As a person, you are thorough and solution-oriented. If you tinker with or work on machines or vehicles in your spare time, that is also of interest. Start: By agreement Working Hours: Daytime, typically Monday-Thursday per week with overnight stays, which may vary depending on the job. Your Profile Desired Qualifications: - Experience with mechanical assembly - Experience with customer service - Knowledge of blueprint reading - Strong computer skills and proficiency with Office applications. An asset if you tinker/work on machines or vehicles in your spare time.
