What the Position Entails
As a service technician at Botek, you'll have a varied and developmentally rewarding day where you work both practically and on problem-solving. The main focus is on installation, service, and repair of weighing and RFID systems for collection vehicles. Work takes place primarily in the workshop in Järfälla, but may also involve customer visits throughout the Mälarden region.
You will work with:
Installation of scales and electronic systems on vehicles
Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical components
Ongoing service, maintenance, and annual inspections
Documentation and follow-up of completed work
Customer contact during delivery, installation, and support
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with strong technical interest who wants to combine practical work with problem-solving. You are responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. With the right attitude and willingness to learn, you can grow into the role—your motivation is what matters most.
We'd like you to have:
Education or experience in electrical, mechanical, or automotive engineering
Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to read simple electrical diagrams
Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
English is a plus
Class B driver's license is required
