In the role of Traveling Service Technician Automation at Scandinavian Maintenance, you will work with service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of automated systems at the company's customers. The role offers a varied workday where mechanics, electrical systems, and automation are in focus. Your work area will primarily be in Stockholm, but travel to Norway, Finland, and other parts of Sweden will also occur. Your main responsibilities: Perform troubleshooting within automation, electrical, and mechanical systems. Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections of automated systems. Perform service operations and emergency repairs at customer sites. Take measurements and perform analyses to ensure equipment operates optimally. Document completed work and report measurements and service assignments. Work with mechanical, electrical, and automated systems. Participate in on-call duty according to a rotating schedule. Travel to customers in Sweden, Norway, and Finland. To succeed in the role, we believe you have: Experience as a service technician, automation technician, industrial electrician, mechanic, or similar technical role. Experience with troubleshooting and service and maintenance work. Good knowledge of electrical systems. Competence in mechanics and electronics. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Good computer skills. Class B driver's license. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have experience with international service assignments, work in logistics or industrial environments. You have a strong safety mindset, work methodically, and are good at analyzing problems to find effective solutions. As a person, you appreciate the variety between scheduled maintenance, emergency service assignments, and travel to different customer environments.
