In our service team, we primarily work with cleaning, laundry, and shopping, but most importantly, we also provide companionship and attentiveness.
Your New Job
Your responsibilities will primarily consist of performing service work in the client's home, such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping. In addition to these tasks, standard care services may also occur.
You work to strengthen and support the individual's own abilities based on both needs and wishes. Furthermore, you always work based on the citizen's care plan and assigned contact person, as well as established guidelines and procedures. A central part of your work is also social documentation and communication.
As an employee in home care, you have a meaningful role in providing individualized service, care, and support and social stimulation - always with the individual in focus. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to creating a valuable everyday life for our elderly with high service standards.

If you have a commute to Gränna of at least two miles, you receive a salary supplement of up to 1,500 kr per month.

Your Qualifications
Primarily, we are looking for someone with experience in service, cleaning, or care work. If you have previously worked in elderly care, that is a plus.
You need to be able to speak, read, and write Swedish, as the work involves contact with citizens, relatives, and colleagues, as well as documentation and reading information related to the work. Social documentation is an important work tool that is digitalized, so we would like you to have good computer skills. You have good physical mobility as the work can be physically demanding.
The position requires that you have a B driver's license and can cycle.
As a person, you are empathetic, considerate, and passionate about providing good service. You are confident working independently and can prioritize between different tasks, but you also enjoy collaborating with colleagues and other professionals you meet in your daily work. You contribute to a positive work environment, have a professional approach, and see solutions when challenges arise. It is very important that you work well with others through attentiveness, communication, and a constructive attitude.

Welcome to Us
Gränna Home Care is one of the municipality's home care groups, and the foundation of our operations is dignified and professional conduct characterized by respect, trust, and consideration. We currently consist of 32 employees who are responsible for personal care and service in the client's home. Our workplace is located at Gränna Senior Living and is well geographically positioned in relation to the home care area. We are also responsible for patrol services in the area.
We move between citizens' homes by car, bicycle, or on foot.
Good to Know
The position is a permanent full-time role with start according to agreement. Working hours are primarily scheduled during daytime on weekdays, but evening and weekend work may occur based on operational needs.
Jönköpings Municipality strives for full-time as the norm and always offers 100% employment level. We work with co-planning, which means working for multiple citizens may become relevant. Job offers in other operations may become available.
This position has been job-evaluated. Nursing Assistant is found in base group D and Care Assistant is found in base group B.
