Here you'll have significant responsibility, the opportunity to influence decisions, and room to grow. About the Role In this role, you'll become a key person in developing our ServiceNow platform. You'll work closely with the business to translate needs into smart, scalable, and secure solutions that strengthen our processes and support the organization. You'll be part of a forward-thinking and competent team consisting of developers, business analysts, configuration managers, portal managers, product owners, and service portfolio managers – together you'll drive the platform forward with a focus on stability, user-friendliness, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include: Owning the development, customization, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform based on business needs. Dialoging with stakeholders and users to understand needs, gather requirements, and develop requirement specifications. Developing, configuring, and implementing solutions, applications, workflows, and automations in ServiceNow. Preparing documentation for prioritizing work efforts and continuously communicating status and progress to relevant stakeholders. Testing, verifying, and deploying new solutions to ensure they meet requirements and don't negatively impact existing operations. Troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving incidents and problems related to the platform to ensure high availability. Implementing and maintaining integrations between ServiceNow and other systems. Documenting changes, solutions, and processes in a way that facilitates continued development and management. Ensuring that development follows internal guidelines, best practices, and applicable security requirements. Actively contributing to continuous improvement of both the ServiceNow platform and related work processes. The following will make you successful in this role: Higher education in IT, computer science, or similar field, or equivalent work experience. Several years of experience developing and configuring in ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms. Good understanding of ITSM processes and frameworks, such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management. Experience with integrations between ServiceNow and other systems via APIs (REST/SOAP). Knowledge of JavaScript scripting and development of automated workflows in ServiceNow. Experience working with workflows, automations, and system integrations. Familiarity with documenting technical solutions and changes for future maintenance. Meritorious qualifications also include: ServiceNow certification, such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (e.g., ITSM, HR, CMDB, Discovery, or other modules). ITIL Foundation (preferably v3 or v4). Experience working in agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Experience with user-friendly interface design (UI/UX) within ServiceNow. Ability to analyze and optimize existing processes. Understanding of information security and data management. Certifications in related areas, such as integrations, automation, or cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud). Previous experience in roles involving requirements management, technical problem-solving, and close collaboration with stakeholders/users. As a person, you are analytical, curious, and comfortable solving complex problems in a structured and thorough manner. You are communicative and enjoy collaborating with both technical and non-technical colleagues, while being independent and taking responsibility for driving your work forward. You have a strong service focus and good understanding of user needs, are flexible and adaptable when circumstances change, and are motivated by delivering high-quality results.
