JOB RESPONSIBILITIES A service worker works in close collaboration with the hospital's operations and helps enable care personnel to focus on their care-related tasks. By taking responsibility for service tasks in the departmental kitchens, we reduce the workload on care and create opportunities for more time with patients. The role involves working in one of our departmental kitchens where we prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to patients. The work is varied and service-oriented, with the goal of providing the best possible support to care. We currently work according to the Cook and chill production method, which means that setting meal trays as well as heating and handling meals occur directly in the departmental kitchen. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, at least 18 years old, and has completed upper secondary education. You are flexible, solution-focused, and enjoy a role where you take responsibility and work independently. Since the position involves placement in one or more care departments, you need to be able to plan, organize, and prioritize your work tasks efficiently. To provide good service, it is important that you have a professional demeanor and appreciate collaboration with others. You need to be able to read, write, speak, and understand Swedish at a level that ensures patient safety. The work is mobile and involves certain lifting, which requires good physical ability. You also have very good computer skills and are comfortable handling documentation and orders digitally. As a person, you are social and outgoing, and you see it as natural to be involved in developing both your own and the group's work. You are responsible, curious, and want to learn more aspects of the service field. You enjoy varied work tasks and find it easy to switch between different work activities. A thorough work approach, where the patient's and customer's experience is in focus, is a given for you. You value good collaboration and strong relationships with colleagues in everyday work. Experience working in a healthcare environment with care-related service tasks, or from restaurants and other service professions with customer contact, is a merit.
