We are looking for a customer service representative for our customer center! Your Workplace Welcome to the Customer Center at Karlstad bus station, a central meeting point for travelers where service and customer care are in focus. Here, approximately 10 dedicated employees work together to create a safe and welcoming environment for our customers. We are looking for someone who wants to join our team and contribute to world-class customer service! As a temporary hourly employee, you work as needed, primarily during peak hours and when regular staff are absent, sometimes with short notice. We would appreciate it if you could also work during the summer period. Your Responsibilities Working hours are scheduled and vary according to the Customer Center's opening hours, which are weekdays 07:00-19:00 and weekends and public holidays 10:00-17:00. After completing training, working hours may vary between 0-100%, depending on operational needs. To provide our customers with the best possible service, there is a training period of approximately 6–8 weeks during which you need to be available full-time. Your responsibilities will primarily consist of: - Ticket sales and customer service on-site - Traffic information and customer service by phone - Customer communication via social media - Lost and found handling - Escort services at the bus station and railway station - Hosting both indoors and outdoors - Daily inspection of the station's indoor and outdoor environment Your Knowledge and Competencies As an applicant, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as experience working with Office applications. We consider it an advantage if you have additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, knowledge of Värmland geography, or experience in customer service. As a person, you are service-oriented and accommodating with an interest in helping and supporting others. You have good ability to adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in change. Furthermore, you are calm, stable, and maintain a professional demeanor even in situations with high work tempo or pressure. You also contribute with creativity by coming up with new ideas and alternative solutions to work-related questions.
