Job Responsibilities In the role of service engineer, your main focus is on microscopy, where you work with everything from simple stereomicroscopes to advanced systems for research, IVF clinics and industrial customers. You work from home or the office at Nääs Fabriker in Tollered, and your assignments take place at customer sites in Sweden and partly in Finland. The work is usually performed independently, but you also collaborate regularly with colleagues from the service and sales departments as well as suppliers. In more detail, your work tasks will include the following: service and repair work on Bergman Labora systems at customer sites, both planned contracts and urgent work. installing and ensuring that delivered equipment functions according to specifications and meets customer expectations. training customers in system operation performing calibrations and verifications of equipment. providing customer support via telephone and email. participation in selling service contracts. Qualifications Post-secondary education in technology or Life Science related field Previous work as a technical engineer at a laboratory, company or field technician. Interest and/or experience in service and repair of laboratory equipment. Fluent English and Swedish in speech and writing.
